The
SSI Advanced Adventure Diver course helps you get more out of diving by
introducing you to new types of scuba diving adventures. It’s a great
opportunity to work with your instructor to build your scuba diving skills and
gain more confidence.
The
Fun Part
Have
you always wanted to try digital underwater photography? How about deep diving?
Here’s your chance because you can sample five different specialty dives, get a
taste of what you like, and feel more at ease in the water, strengthening your
underwater skills and letting you enjoy scuba diving more than ever.
• Get credit! Each Advanced
Adventure Dive may be credited toward the first dive of the corresponding SSI
Specialty course. This means you can be well on your path to becoming a Master
Scuba Diver.
Prerequisites
To
take the Adventure Diver course, you must be
• A SSI Open Water Diver or
Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another
organization)
* Minimum age: 15 years old
(12 years old for SSI Junior Advanced Adventure Diver)
Your
Next Adventure
After
your SSI Advanced Adventure Diver certification you can take the next step by
completing two specialty diver courses. All you need is 1 more dive in 2 of the
specialty areas you already tried and a total of 12 logged dives and you
willbe a Specialty Divers.
Complete
just 1 more dive each in 2 of the other specialty dives you sampled have a
total of 24 logged dives and you will be a SSI Advanced Open Water Diver.

Each diver needs to provide their own: • Mask, Snorkel, Fins, & Boots • Scuba Gear which includes BC, Regulator, Dive Computer, 3 Tanks, Wet Suit (or Dry Suit), Weights, Hood, Gloves, & Dive Flag. (Special Rental Rates available on a limited bases)
